Headache Headache Basics

Migraines can last as long as 72 hours.


Migraines can last anywhere from 4 to 72 hours. Some people may experience migraines only once or twice a year while others may suffer from them daily. Women are more likely than men to have migraines and a person’s quality of life can be seriously affected by the debilitating effects of migraine. An American migraine study reported that 4 out of 10 patients said migraine drives them to stay home for days at a time. If you think you may suffer from migraines, be sure to speak to your doctor.
